About Raj Uphaar

Raj Uphaar is a social enterprise and women empowerment initiative based in Dharampur, South Gujarat, India. It was founded in 2018 under Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care — the charitable arm of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, a global spiritual organisation with 108 centres across five continents.

Raj Uphaar supports over 200 underprivileged tribal women artisans from some of the poorest rural villages in South Gujarat. It provides them with employment, skill training, raw materials, equipment, safe workplaces, and end-to-end support for marketing and distributing their products. Every purchase from Raj Uphaar directly contributes to a tribal woman's livelihood and self-reliance.
